New York, baby!

Leaving for New York City tomorrow!!! As you may have guessed, I am very excited. I'm gonna hit 5th avenue and get myself a really nice bag. I've been wanting one for a while now and I have about $280 to spend (although, I probably won't spend THAT much). I'm thinking about the Marc Jacobs store. I'll probably look in just about every store, though. I love this Chloe bag, but it might be a little 'of the moment' and I want the one I buy to be classic and timeless (if I'm going to spend that much money on it). I'd like it better in a tan colour, anyway.

Fashion Photography is Love.

If ever I am in need of fashion inspiration, all I need to do is look at pictures like these. Absolutely beautiful, am I right?

I'm back...

Yep, last minute road trip. I went to a theme park, but unfortunately, I didn't get to do any shopping.

SO, time for a style report. At the theme park I went to, I saw tons of girls in skinnies and ballet flats. I also saw a lot of girls in Abercrombie, but what else is new? I also saw a girl in a very odd bright yellow sweatshirt with black and white stripes at the wrists and the waist. It said "I am the dream". But, at least she tried something different. In the sense of fashion, the people there lacked originality. I don't think I saw one person and thought, "Wow, they have style." Why is that so rare? Even where I live, I rarely see someone and think 'fashion'. Now, don't get me wrong. I definetly have my off days (like today), when I'll just throw on a t-shirt and shorts, but there's got to be some people who dress fashionably everyday. Right?

I've been tagged.

Game Rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to then report this on their own blog with their 7 things as well as these rules. They then need to tag 7 others and list their names on their blog. They are also asked to leave a comment for each of the tagged, letting them know they have been tagged and to read the blog.

Oh, Canada.

Today's outfit is simple. I was handed a black t shirt that says 'Canada, Old Navy'. As you may have guessed, it is Canada day and I am Canadian. Anyway, I decided to pair it with a cropped grey cardigan left unbuttoned, classic bue skinnies (a bit baggy), and denim flats with bows on them. My style changes from day to day, sometimes depending on my mood. Today, however, I didn't have much of a choice. I went for a bit of a grunge/oversized t-shirt look. But, the flats with the little bows contrast the black t-shirt because they are somewhat cutesy. There's a better picture of the shoes at the top.

Yesterday (outfit)

Yesterday was a relaxed outfit. I sometimes find it a bit hard to be fashionable in the summer. A lot of times, I just throw on a t-shirt and shorts...

Anyway, yesterday's outfit consisted of a cream coloured top with crocheting at the top, and hmm.. brown-ish beige(?) shorts. The shorts are actually more of a warmer tone. The picture doesn't show it, though. I wore gold gladiator-type sandals with it.

So, what do you think? Comment.
